  • APCO Congratulates the Recent Graduates of the CPE Program

Alexandria, Va. – APCO International is pleased to announce that the following individuals have earned the Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) designation following completion of the culminating course, a two-week capstone seminar at APCO headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.

“I would like to thank each of you for making this experience one of the most influential experiences of my life – something that I will never forget,” said class president Christopher Cross. “As we have learned over the past two weeks, I challenge each of you to focus on the future, to think big, to be authentic and to allow your values to drive your commitment.”

    Congratulations to the following graduates:

Corbin Bish – Lake County 911, Crown Point, Ind.
Pam Buzan – Wescom, Plainfield, Ill.
Donna Carrell – NOETA 911 Dispatch Center, Claremore, Okla.
Mindy Cook – Amarillo Emergency Communications Center, Amarillo, Texas
Christopher Cross – Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, Leesburg, Va.
Pam Hess – Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, Berryville, Va.
Laura Martinez – Casa Grande Public Safety Communications, Casa Grande, Ariz.
Rebekah Stephens – City of Roanoke E911, Roanoke, Va.

The CPE Program is the only executive leadership program of its type in the world focused specifically on the public safety communications industry. It consists of two 12-week online courses in addition to the ten-day capstone seminar.

Applications are currently being accepted for the next CPE class beginning in January 2021. Applicants do not need to be members of APCO International. However, APCO members can apply for a scholarship to cover some of the costs.
