The Philadelphia Union Recognized me during the pre-game ceremonies July 2012. #IAM911 Mother driving with choking infant in the back seat of her vehicle. I convinced her to stop & gave pre-arrival instructions as officers responded. Ambulance transported mother and child to the hospital infant was released after short check-up. 9-1-1 pre-arrival instructions work. 9-1-1 operators are working hard to convince congress to reclassify our profession as Protective services, the same category as Police & Fire personnel are listed under. Please, tell your government officials you support your 9-1-1 operators and wish to see our profession re-categorized. Thank you
